MURDER, SHE WROTE: The Ecobedo Family is Slain in Chihuahua (2010-2011)
(With Editorial Introduction and Follow-up News Reports]
By George Baker (Mexico Energy Intelligence)
Editor’s introduction:
As of January 2011, The three judges in this case (who absolved the murderer of the charge of killing the daughter) are being stripped of their judicial immunity (if justice be done) that they can be tried for their crime of dismissing the accused, after which he later killed the mother.
The judges (obviously insane?) are seeking asylum in the USA, claiming they were only doing their duty in letting the murderer go—his confession and showing where he burned and disposed of the body were seen by the three judges as insufficient evidence. The judges stated that, among other factors (see the Editor’s Follow-up Note), they could not convict because there was no witness and no autopsy report.
The murderer is now on Mexico’s List of Most-Wanted Criminals.
